It’s the last day of the pre-patch as the War Within proper looms ahead. And so it’s time to set the baseline for comparisons when the expansion, with its game-changing Hero talents and more, arrives!
Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
95th percentile DPS
As usual, Mythic+ is much slower to move than the raids, so we see a fairly stable situation. The top 3 are solidified, but we do immediately see a change at No.4, as Fury takes down Elemental, with the Shaman experiencing a bit of a drop, but much smaller than in the raids. Marksmanship also wooshes past the blue spec, with Arms sitting behind the totemite, waiting for its chance. We then have the newcomers, with giant upswings since the patch, as Affliction and Enhancement both gain “only” gains 4 spots, while the other Shaman a whooping 12! Balance closes out the top 10, very balanced and stable. Fire joins the bottom tier crew, falling 7 spots since its nerf.
All Percentiles
Affliction rises even further here, grabbing 4th from the flailing Elemental and rising 6! Marksmanship is also on its way up, gaining 4 in 5th, with Balance also riding high, 2 spots up in 9th. Enhancement closes out the top 10, with another giant leap, this one actually taking it out of the bottom 3!
Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg’s rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
The final raw DPS numbers are also pretty stable, with Frost DK retaining its lead over Fury, but Retribution does take Arms down and claims the bronze. Marksmanship moves up a little, while Elemental actually stays stable for a change. Assassination gains 4 spots, while Balance is ever-stable in the final top 10 spot.
All Percentiles Tank (Points)
We see absolutely no change in the tank rankings compared to the previous week, but it’s still nice to have a snapshot now, so we can compare when things get messy in the expansion.
Healer (Points)
We do see changes for Healers, with Mistweaver moving a big 2 spots up into 3rd, pushing both Resto Druid and Holy Pala down.
