Expeditionary Plate Warboots are finally available for players completing Exile’s Reach.
The Mystery of the Missing Boots
First introduced in Shadowlands Patch 9.0.1, the Expeditionary Plate Warboots were designed as a quest reward but were never properly included in the game. For years, players attempted to obtain them through repeated completions of Exile’s Reach, to no avail. The frustration was real, with many voicing their concerns across various platforms, like the item’s comment section on Wowhead.
The War Within Pre-Patch Fixed the Issue!
Finally, with the release of the War Within pre-patch, the long-lost boots are now properly awarded. Complete the Forbidden Quilboar Necromancy quest in Exile’s Reach, and you’ll receive the Expeditionary Plate Warboots. This quest is quick and accessible, taking around 15 minutes to complete with a new character. Don’t miss your chance to unlock this long-awaited appearance!
