The player has posted a screenshot showcasing their collection and shared their thoughts on the long journey to the milestone in a thread on Reddit!
A 20-Year Journey to 1000 Mounts
“WoW, what a long, strenuous, fun, and at times annoying journey it’s been,” the player reflected. Over two decades, they have diligently collected mounts, from basic quest rewards to extremely rare raid drops. What started as a fun vanity item collection soon became a deep passion and long-term goal.
The First and 1000th Mount: A Full Circle
The mount collector remembered their first-ever mount, the 
Striped Nightsaber, obtained when their Night Elf hit level 40. Fast forward to the 1000th mount, the 
Slayer’s Felbroken Shrieker, completed the collection in a memorable style.

Advice to Mount Collectors!
The avid mount collector recommends everyone to get a lot of the achievements or rare spawn mounts during content when it’s active because it’s easier to find groups that farm them.
