War Within Season 1 Mythic+ DPS Log Rankings, Week 4: Post-Tuning

We have some significant changes this past week as the tuning has taken effect. The top 3 specs are very securely set, at least in the points department. The rest is very much in flux. Fire is still the big loser, but it’s doing a lot better here than in raids. So, let’s take a look!

Warcraft Logs Points

The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing. This means that they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor. It is a much, much smaller factor, granting only a few points for significantly faster completions compared to just any in-time finish. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity. This means that the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.

95th percentile DPS

No tuning pass can take down the green! Augmentation will stay on top until some very drastic measures are implemented, it seems. The rest of the top 3 is similarly unaffected, as Frost and Assa remain firm, with the Rogue catching up to the DK. Right after that we see the first tuning change. Fire fell off quite a bit, but not nearly as much as in the raid where it’s down at the very bottom. Balance rises up to fill the 4th place void left by the Mage, followed by a rapidly rising Unholy. The DK gains a big 4 spots in 5th, followed by Elemental with its 3 spots gained, as they both knock Arcane down a peg.

Fire finds itself down in 8th, losing only 4 positions, remaining in front of Enhancement and a rising Outlaw. The bottom 3 are very similar, with Devastation taking Demonology’s place alongside BM and Arms.

All Percentiles

Aug/Frost/Assa is the combo here as well as the trio pull ahead of everyone else with Fire’s demise. Affliction makes the leap and moves into 4th, just barely ahead of a very stable Unholy and Arcane. Balance also profits from Fire’s fall, as the Mage stabilizes in 7th, just behind the Druid. The Shamans are still sticking together down in 8th and 9th. This puts them just ahead of the newly risen Shadow, which closes out the top 10. The once long-reigning king of M+, Subtlety, finds itself down in the gutters as it joins BM and Arms in the bottom 3.

U.gg Raw DPS Rankings by Hero Talent Tree

We have some big changes in the Hero trees as Ret and Fury take over, with only Frost DK managing to hold on to the top 3 from last week’s specs! Outlaw is down 3 and Unholy 5, as Elemental and Destro come charging in.
