We had a slower week than usual in the hotfix department, but there were still major things happening. There were a lot of Mythic+ dungeon and Nerub-ar palace raid tuning changes to start with. Then there’s the usual class tweaks and fixes. Zekvir got some serious nerfs, as his crests became weekly only.
There’s plenty more to see, including a Tier 2 set drop change in Season of Discovery, so let’s dive in.
Achievements
- The achievements Vox Arachni, True Strength, and The Grand Tapestry should now trigger as expected.

- An issue causing Subduing Grasp to be applied to the current target rather than the Death Grip target has been resolved.

Delves
- Defeating Zekvir in his Lair now rewards Crests and Valorstones once per character per week.
Dungeons and Raids
- When Xal’atath’s Bargain: Oblivion is active, Oblivion Crystals now move towards a player if they fail to find an enemy in combat.
- When Xal’atath’s Bargain: Voidbound is active, the player buff effects are now 20% Versatility and 30% Cooldown Reduction (was 50% Cooldown reduction and 15% increased healing received).

- Fixed an issue where Titan Prison Fragment cannot be looted if Yogg-Saron was already killed this week.

- Rasha’nan will no longer continue fighting the player after being brought below 60% health.
- Resolved an issue causing Encroaching Shadows to be removed by immunity effects.
- Siege of Boralus
- Resolved an issue causing Fiery Ricochet to not apply its damage over time if a target was far away.
- Resolved an issue that caused Sighted Artillery to not target players farther away from Dread Captiain Lockwood.

- The effects of Bloody Javelin no longer stack.
- Zolramus Gatekeeper’s Wrath of Zolramus periodic damage reduced by 25%.
- Skeletal Monstrosity’s enemy forces contributions increased by 20%.
- Surgeon Stitchflesh’s health reduced by 20%.
- Stitchflesh’s Creation’s Festering Rot damage reduced by 30%

- Skarmorak’s health reduced by 10%.
- Skarmorak is now stunned for 4 seconds (was 2 seconds) after Fortified Shell is broken.
- Skarmorak’s Crystalline Eruption damage reduced by 15%.
- Void Speaker Eirich’s health reduced by 10%.
- Increased the cooldown of Entropic Reckoning.
- Resolved an issue causing summons such as Auto-Hammers from destroying Volatile Spikes on E.D.N.A

- Mote duration before explosion increased to 20 seconds (was 15 seconds).
- Void Degeneration and Burning Rage now kill the player at 4 stacks (was 3).
- Fixed an issue with Anub’arash not casting Spike Storm if in the very middle of the room when it burrows.

- Frothy Toxin damage reduced by 15% on Heroic difficulty.
- Gloom Blast damage reduced by 15% on Heroic difficulty.
- When calculating applications of Frothy Toxin, only living players are now counted towards the maximum possible application amount on Heroic and Mythic difficulties.
- On Mythic difficulty:
- Queen Ansurek’s health reduced by 5%.
- Frothy Toxin damage reduced by 26.7%.
- Silken Tomb health reduced by 20%.
- Wrest damage (Intermission) reduced by 25%.
- Grasping Silk maximum size reduced by 10%.

Player versus Player
- Resolved an issue that allowed Battleground Blitz to grant progress towards the Vicious Skyflayer mount while below the required rating.
Quests
- Granted Nerub-ar Finery to characters who were put into an incorrect state after killing a Mythic raid boss before a previous hotfix was applied to the quest “The Finer Things”. If you’re not seeing the change on the affected character, log in and out of the game.
- “Emissary of War” should now progress its criteria when players complete a Season 1 Heroic dungeon.
- Fixed an issue where Nerub-ar Finery for “The Finer Things” would continue to drop after reaching the intended weekly cap.
- Developer’s note: Players with an unintended surplus of Finery will not be able to turn in the extras.
Season of Discovery
- Tier 2 belt tokens no longer drop in Blackwing Lair. Prince Thunderaan still drops two belt tokens, and his single loot table for unique gear has been split in two.
- Developers’ notes: The BWL change should result in players seeing more set pieces from other gear slots from Nefarian and the bonus chests. Prince Thunderaan’s split loot table now grants players an extra item every kill.
