A player has reached level 80 while staying on the Exile’s Reach starting ship, using only pet battles! This creative approach involves using daily pet trainer quests across Azeroth to slowly but surely level up, a process that took nearly 60 days!
Cheatcho has accomplished the world’s first level 80 on the Exile’s Reach starting ship, and they did it entirely through pet battles! For the past few expansions, this extremely dedicated player has been leveling characters purely via pet trailer daily quests, and now they’ve taken it a step further with this unique method!
How They Did It
Using a level 25 Chrominius pet, with Arcane Explosion as the key ability, the player parked alts near 5 trainers across Azeroth. These trainers offer daily quests, which can be completed on any character, regardless of location. The process was methodical:
- Bill Buckler (Cape of Stranglethorn)
- Old MacDonald (Westfall)
- Lindsay (Redridge Mountains)
- Eric Davidson (Duskwood)
- Dagra the Fierce (Northern Barrens) – Horde
Each daily quest takes around 3 minutes to complete, and with all 5 trainers tackled each day, it took just under 59 days to level from 70 to 80. That totals around 15 hours of playtime.
Before jumping into this strategy, players must first complete two achievements: 
Taming Eastern Kingdoms and 
Taming Kalimdor. Once that’s out of the way, you can start your own pet battle-leveling journey!
