An investigation is currently ongoing about an issue that may occur when visiting the Smithy. This issue causes weapon upgrading tutorials to repeatedly appear, preventing access to certain menu options. The problem seems to also occur during Campfire Cooking or at the Food distribution center.
Bug Information Details
Capcom has received reports of the following issues occurring across all platforms:
- Past tutorials may repeatedly display, making most menu options grayed out and inaccessible.
- The issue can occur at the Smithy, where weapon tutorials will pop up over and over, greying out the crafting or upgrading options, making it impossible for you to access anything outside the tutorial.
- Those tutorials also seem to appear over and over at the processing shop, making it impossible for you to unlock the Food Distribution Center and Campfire Cooking, even when the conditions are met.
- It is not impossible the issue appears on other menus where tutorials repeat.
- The issue can appear on any platform.
Capcom Investigations are Ongoing
Capcom is currently investigating those issues. The only thing you can try to do is heading to your in-game menu, and disable the option for Tutorials to repeat. This may fix it for you.
This options can be found under:
- Open the Menu
- Head to Options
- Navigate to the Game Settings tab
- Disable the Tutorial Amount option. you can pick between:
- Repeat Tutorials
- Don’t Repeat Tutorials
- Disable all Turorials
If you are experiencing the menu issues, we recommend disabling it all for the time being, and see if this helps you access the Smithy or Cooking. If it does not work, you will have to wait until Capcom patches the problem.
