Horrific Visions are making a comeback in World of Warcraft’s Patch 11.1.5, bringing players back into the twisted and corrupted versions of Stormwind and Orgrimmar.
Survive the Madness
Horrific Visions test your ability to withstand the creeping influence of N’Zoth’s corruption. Players must complete objectives while carefully managing their Sanity, a resource that depletes over time and determines how long you can survive inside the vision.
You can tackle these encounters solo or with a party, adjusting the difficulty to suit your group. For those venturing alone or in need of additional help, a Construct of Soridormi NPC companion will be available. This ally can take on the role of a Tank, DPS or Healer, without being affected by Sanity loss, ensuring a more balanced experience for everyone.

Increased Difficulty, Greater Rewards
For players seeking a tougher challenge, higher difficulty levels can be activated, offering greater rewards, including gear up Heroic item levels. The Horrific Vision masks return with modifiers that increase difficulty while unlocking better loot. Returning masks include:
- Mask of Pained
- Mask of Dark Imagination
- Mask of the Long Night
- Mask of the Burned Bridge
- Mask of the Daredevil
In addition, three new masks will be added.
New Currency
Patch 11.1.5 introduces a new currency: Displaced Corrupted Mementos. Players collect them by completing Horrific Visions and they can be turned in for previous and new rewards that include:
- Mounts
- Toys
- Transmogs
- Weapon Enchantments
