The launch of Alpha 2 Phase 3 for Ashes of Creation is only weeks away, with the official start day slotted for May 1, 2025. Many big-named streamers are rumored to begin (and continue) their Ashes of Creation journey in this new phase, as it brings in a handful of new content, ranging from new areas to explore, mobs to defeat, loot to gather, armor to craft, weapons to use, and eventually, the introduction to the eighth and final archetype, the Summoner.
If you are not currently participating in the Ashes of Creation Alpha, this next phase may be the time to jump in and start. It’s important to note that this truly is an Alpha and is not a complete game. By agreeing to pay for an Alpha key and begin your Ashes of Creation journey, you should expect to come across bugs, unfinished areas, periodic downtimes, and the unexpected. This is a true Alpha, so all of these things should be expected – but you do gain the ability to directly watch the game grow and prepare for its official launch, which is rumored to be potentially still several years away.
What to Expect in Alpha 2 Phase 3
Alpha 2 Phase 3 of Ashes of Creation is the final phase of the Alpha-2 testing for the game, and there are many new pieces of content that are planned to be launched throughout this phase. The overall goal of Alpha 2 Phase 3 is expanded content and features, which will run up until the launch of the Beta.
Unlike Alpha 2 Phase 2, this last phase of the Alpha will be open 24/7, allowing players to play whenever they want, any day of the week (with the exception of the periodic downtime for updates/bug fixes). It’s important to note that as Ashes of Creation is still in active development, some of these plans and dates could change, but as of now, the items in the image below are what you can expect to see throughout Alpha 2 Phase 3.
How to Gain Access to Ashes of Creation Alpha 2 Phase 3
To participate in Ashes of Creation Alpha 2 Phase 3, you will need to create an account here, then visit the “Shop” to purchase the Alpha 2 Phase 3 key ($100.00 USD). Once you purchase this key, you will gain complete access to not only Alpha 2 Phase 3, but also the future Beta version of the game, allowing you access to play until the official launch of Ashes of Creation. Additionally, you will be provided a one-month subscription time once the game officially launches, and $15 worth of Embers (in-game marketplace credits for cosmetics).
