Just a week into Last Epoch Season 2, players are already looking for the perfect legendary rolls. Thanks to the unique interactions between the Nemesis system and the new Woven Echoes, rerolling affixes on legendaries with 2 Legendary Potential or less has become surprisingly easy — and very efficient!
How It Works
One of the new Woven Echoes items introduced this season is the Gauntlet of Strife. This powerful item lets you use a Sacrificial Altar to reroll the affixes on a unique or legendary item. The catch? You will need to sacrifice a matching unique item with equal or greater Legendary Potential (LP) than the one you’re rerolling.
That’s where the Nemesis system comes in.
If you take a 0 LP version of a unique item and toss it into a Nemesis Egg, there is a good chance you will get back a legendary version with 2 random affixes. Even if those affixes are garbage, this newly created 2 LP legendary counts for sacrificial purposes.
This means you can use these easy-to-farm 2 LP legendaries to reroll your actual valuable 1–2 LP unique or legendary items at a Sacrificial Altar via the Gauntlet of Strife.
Important Notes:
- The sacrificed item must be the same unique as the one you’re rerolling — this was confirmed in the patch notes.
- The new Weaver’s Tree Imprint makes it even simpler to farm those 0 LP uniques you need.
- This method is only viable for items with 2 LP or less.
- When interacting with the Egg at the Nemesis, you can access your stash chest. You don’t have to carry the items with you.
With this method, hunting perfect affix rolls on your 2 LP legendaries is no longer a terrible grind. It’s a smart, repeatable trick that anyone can pull off with a bit of Nemesis farming.
