One of Genshin Impact’s more unique features in version 5.6 is Escoffier’s ability to craft high-quality dishes using her Elemental Skill. But here’s the best part: you don’t need to actually own her to get your hands on her cooking. One Reddit user noticed that, thanks to the trial domain available during her banner, players can receive a free batch of Escoffier’s finest creations simply by running the trial. That means you can stock up on high-value food without spending a single Primogem. Some of this food is honestly pretty powerful.

This makes her one of the first characters to reward consumables like this through her trial alone. While Raiden cannot cook, Escoffier is giving food away. Whether you’re hoarding buffs for those rare combat events, or simply want to collect these food options without pulling our new Fontainian Chef, don’t skip her test run if you want to grab a few of these dishes before the banner is over.

What Food Can Escoffier Provide Players With?

Escoffier’s skill allows her to create exclusive food items once per week using her All-Spectrum Multi-Use Cooking Mek. These recipes include but are not limited to:

• Gilded Hall – Boosts ATK by 372 and CRIT DMG by 24%.
• Verdant Gift – Boosts ATK by 320 and CRIT Rate by 10%.
• Autumn Frost – Restores 42% of Max HP and an additional 2850 HP.

To craft these, players need to use the Hold version of her Skill to place the Cooking Mek on the field. The Mek passively absorbs elemental attacks, and once it accumulates enough energy, it converts the ingredients inside into food. This works similarly to the Parametric Transformer (remember to do this every week!). There is a limit however, Escoffier can only prepare a certain number of foods which resets every week.

For players that run out of food, you would however need to wait for another time she becomes available through a trial. This does not exclusively mean through banner periods though, any events or questlines that allow you to play as Escoffier should in theory, allow you to gain more food.#
