We have some major changes after the class tuning pass! Quite a few specs are moving on up, with Subtlety and Shadow being the headliners. The Rogue in particular is just skyrocketing up, moving out of dead-last into the top 10 in multiple charts! Let’s get to it.
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
Marksmanship is on the rise as it moves past the two Warlocks, with Destruction pulling further ahead in the purple fight and sitting neck-and-neck with the Hunter. We then see the biggest changes in the rankings, as Shadow has made very good use of its buffs, rising a huge 6 spots into 5th! Survival also got boosted by the tuning, also rising 6 spots with the two ability buffs.
But the single biggest change arrives at No.7, where Subtlety is reborn! The Rogue leaps a colossal 19 spots up with its 5% overall buff, claiming the possibly largest shift in The War Within so far! One of the reasons for this crazy leap is a bug that happened for the first few days of the reset. The spec somehow got double its intended buff, with a 10% damage increase. It’s been fixed quite a while now, so we’ll see how much the spec drops next week.
Windwalker moves down one to accommodate the skyrocketing Rogue, but it does move past Retribution, which drops three spots to accommodate all the tuned risers. Havoc also drops one but remains in the top 10. Arcane is also on the rise, gaining two to come up just outside the top 10. At the bottom of the rankings we see a pretty sad sight, with not one but two Druids in the mix! Both Feral and Demonology join Balance in the bottom 3, with Enhancement also getting close.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
Marksmanship hasn’t quite managed to take down the Warlocks here, but it does move one spot up as Frost DK drops off quite a bit. Survival moves three spots up, as it was positioned a lot better here before the buff. Assassination is the anchor of the top 10, staying still in 6th. Shadow bursts onto the scene in 7th, gaining even more spots than in the top percentiles, a whopping ten up! Unholy finds itself two spots down to accommodate the newcomers, and right after that, we have the star of the week once again! Subtlety went from dead-last here as well all the way up to 10th, gaining a breezy 16 spots.
Frost is the biggest loser at the top, dropping 7 spots to outside the top 10. The bottom 3 is very different from the top percentiles. We see the same two specs as last week, Balance and Frost Mage, and Subtlety is replaced by Demonology.
Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
The buffs keep the single-target kind on the throne as Survival builds out its lead. Arms and Feral move past Assassination, with the Warrior getting some help from the tuning. Arcane continues its rise, and we see where it gets its stats in the upper charts from, as it gains two spots here. Subtlety also skyrockets here, but not quite as much, gaining 13 spots in 10th.

Arms moves straight to the top with its buffs, gaining three spots. Ironically, Fire is also randomly back, moving five spots up, despite Frost getting all the buffs this time around. Retribution is actually rising here, same as Elemental.
