Capcom has officially completed maintenance for Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2, and the patch is now available across all platforms. You can jump back into the game and start exploring what TU2 has to offer!
Make sure you update your game accordingly! After the maintenance, be sure to fully exit the game and check for updates. It might take a little while for the update to appear on your platform, so if you don’t see it right away, give it a few minutes and try again. If the update does not appear on your steam, close it completely and reopen it.
What’s Available in TU2?

Title Update 2 comes with a few cool new additions and changes, so here is a quick recap of what you do right now in Monster Hunter Wilds:
- Hunt the two new monsters:
- Craft the new gear sets
- Layer your weapons
- Prepare to challenge Uth Duna on July 30
- And more!
So if you’ve been waiting to jump back in, now is the time to sharpen your blades, and maybe bring some friends along for the new challenges.
Known Issues After the Update
A few issues have surfaced after the update, so here is a quick look on what to pay attention:
- The text for the Cosmetic DLC Pass is not displayed correctly in the Claim Content menu at the Support Desk. (PS5 only)
- If adjustments have been made to the Keyboard Configuration settings before the update, keys assigned to Ascend and Descend for Underwater Controls may have duplicate control binds. (Steam only)
- To avoid this issue, open the Keyboard Configuration settings and reassign the key that shares a control assignment with Ascend/Descend.
- Network connection may be lost when performing a Focus Strike on Rey Dau with an Insect Glaive under certain situations.
- The game may crash when selecting Equipment Appearance or Palico Equipment Appearance in the Appearance Menu that can be accessed from a tent.
