In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, you’ll encounter statues and other points of interest with a faint blue glow. If you interact with these points, the game will prompt you to either Pay Your Respects, Examine, or Offer Sacrifice.
It’s hard to know exactly what to do, since there are no clear tutorials or in-game tips to guide you.
Sometimes, interacting with these points of interest correctly can reveal lore details and reward you with items. So it’s important to understand how to engage with them to avoid missing out on rewards.
How To Pay Your Respects, Examine, and Sacrifice In Wuchang
If you’ve played other Soulslike titles like Elden Ring or the Dark Souls trilogy, youre likely familiar with Gestures. Gestures are animations and poses that the player can select.

These usually don’t serve gameplay purposes beyond helping players communicate or take in-game screenshots. However, in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, they’re actually useful.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers includes Gestures as well. If you approach any Statue of Shu and are prompted to pay your respects, press Y on your keyboard or the Camera View key on your controller to open the Pose Interface. Then select the Worship option to Pay Your Respects.
Later in the game, you will also com across other points of interest where you’re prompted to offer a Sacrifice, gaze into the horizon, or examine the ground. The Pose Interface also includes poses for these. Selecting the Sacrifice, Gaze, or Examine option will fulfill the corresponding prompt.
If done correctly, you’ll hear a line of dialogue, and once it ends, you’ll receive an item.
