They have created an addon that does exactly that – RandomMog. It will help you visually combine the pieces you probably never tried before, and hopefully get some inspiration on what to use. The Addon
While the first part of the addon is pretty self-explanatory, there are a few more cool things you can do with it.
- Choose exactly which equipment slots to randomize with individual checkboxes
- Quickly select or deselect all slots with one click
- Only uses appearances you’ve actually collected and can wear
- Watch each piece change in sequence for a satisfying effect (if you want to do it fast without animations, just use Shift while pressing the random button)
- Quick access with /randommog or /rm for instant changes
- Your slot selections are remembered between sessions
- Minimal memory usage, only active when transmog window is open
As of recent updates, you can now transmog each shoulder separately and, with a click of a button, add a random weapon illusion to your weapon.
Tips & Tricks
Use checkboxes to randomize only certain slots while keeping your favourite pieces. This goes well with theme building. Try to keep the weapons you like and try to find a well-balanced armor, and vice versa.
