The Story: Adventure Through a New Campaign
Experience the next chapter in the Worldsoul Saga as things become more dire for the world of Azeroth. Xal’atath, the Harbinger, poses our greatest threat as she unleashes chaos in her wake with the ensuing invasion striking into the heart of the blood elf homelands in Eversong Woods.

Play through four new zones as you dig deeper into the ongoing story, meet new allies, and amass power to push back against the Void.

Take a Stand in Silvermoon City
Horde and Alliance will fortify within the streets of Silvermoon City, which will serve as a hub for both factions. Approximately one-third of the city will be designated exclusively for the Horde, while the remaining two-thirds will be accessible to both Horde and Alliance members. The city has been rebuilt from the ground up and the path of destruction the Scourge left behind mostly a memory.
Come Home with Housing
Build, decorate, and personalize your home in Azeroth with the new Housing feature. Join a Neighborhood, take on Endeavors, and make yourself at home. Learn more.
New Race: Meet and Befriend the Haranir
Earn the trust of the Haranir through a series of quests to unlock this new allied race. Haranir will be able to join either the Horde or the Alliance and play as a Druid, Hunter, Mage, Monk, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, or Warrior. Learn more.
Become a Devourer Demon Hunter
Unlock the new third specialization for Demon Hunters, the Devourer, which harnesses the Void with unique ranged abilities ripped from your enemies. Void Elves can also heed the call of the Demon Hunter taking up the mantle to push back against the hungering forces of the Void. Learn more.
Conquer Eight New Dungeons
The expansion also introduces eight new dungeons, each with unique environments and storylines. Learn more.
Battle through Three New Raids
Face off against nine bosses split across three raid dungeons over the course of Midnight Season 1. Learn more.
Play Through New Delves
Undertake new challenges in Delves with a new companion at your side—the legendary blood elf rogue Valeera Sanguinar. You’ll plunder ten new Delves plus one new Nemesis Delve. Learn more.
Go on the Hunt with the Prey System
Track powerful targets throughout the zones of Midnight in three difficulties: Normal, Hard, and Nightmare. Successfully find and defeat your quarry to earn valuable new rewards as you progress through the system. Learn more.

PvP Updates
Take Arms in a New Battleground: Slayer’s Rise
Set in the Voidstorm, this 40 vs 40 epic battleground will pit the Horde and Alliance against each other in a race for control and conquest. Players with War Mode turned on will also be able to engage in World PvP in the outdoor area.

User Interface (UI) Updates
We’re making improvements to Nameplates, adding Damage Meters to the base UI, and integrating boss alerts into our raid design in Midnight. Learn more.

Take your transmog game further with the ability to save item slot appearances and outfits for any occasion. Whether you’re fighting in a dungeon, exploring a new area, or taking a rest in your house, you’ll be able to dress for the moment. Learn more.

Bring your friends and family into Azeroth with an updated New Player Experience in Exile’s Reach. They’ll learn more about World of Warcraft while honing their character’s skills and diving into the story of Dragonflight along the way.
Returning Player Experience
Return to Azeroth with confidence as you undertake a new focused experience. You’ll get your feet wet without the weight of trying to discern where you left off last and get back into action as you reacquaint yourself with your character.

Sign Up for the Midnight Beta
Sign-ups for the Midnight beta test are now open. Over the course of the test, we’ll be inviting community veterans, press, fansites, friends, and family to check out the upcoming expansion and give us feedback. Players who purchase or who upgrade to the Epic Edition of Midnight will also gain immediate access to the beta.
Players selected to participate will receive an email invitation directing them to download the game client directly from the Battle.net desktop app. Players who purchase the Epic Edition may also receive email notifications. As always, please be aware of phishing attempts—if you’re unsure whether your invitation is legitimate, please log in to your Battle.net account to verify that there is a Midnight beta license attached (under Your Game Accounts).
