It was bound to happen. Two titans of the Diablo 4 community meme scene have now clashed!
If you’re not familiar with it, the fairly frequent dungeon event where you have to save 3 NPCs has become a bit of a recurring topic in the community, with many memes and discussions popping out around it. It’s notoriously difficult to keep any of the NPCs alive, so much so that there are genuine “I did it!” posts coming up fairly regularly, not to mention the memes. The Butcher himself requires no introductions.
And so one fateful day these two worlds crashed into each other. Chevnofsky ran into the big red one and was, alas, bested. But it seems the NPC self-preservation drive is even worse than we thought just based on the event itself. That’s right, she went for it!
Teamwork! The NPC even kept the Butcher at low health, ready for the killing stroke.
That’s extremely brave, especially considering he’s asking for help getting out alive… Perhaps she knew that she was invulnerable until the actual event starts. In any case that’s a very fun interaction as the Butcher got double-teamed and chevnofsky got their loot!
