Flins Gets a Suprise Buff Before Launch – Here’s Why it Matters

Flins may be coming in the second half of Genshin Impact 6.0, but he’s still receiving balance tweaks behind the scenes. According to a new leak from HXG’s creator server build, Flins has been quietly buffed-and this one might be more important than it looks at first glance.

The buff affects Flins’ Manifest Flame Mode’s Normal Attack, which now generates 1 Electro Particle every 2 seconds, down from the previous 2.5s cooldown. This change is reminiscent of an older internal version that effectively increases his energy generation and reduces his overall Energy Recharge (ER) requirements.

For players throwing resin at artifacts for our resident Lightkeeper, this change is a helpful adjustment to further buff his DPS. Less Energy Recharge required means more room for offensive Substat rolls such as CRIT and ATK %.

Players are still speculating on exactly how this decreases Flin’s Energy Recharge requirements and what the overall damage gain is now, assuming a more optimised substat distribution. What we can say for sure is extra buffs are always appreciated.
