Quick Navigation
Skill Trees
This is a well-rounded build that leverages Amon various bonus elemental damage sources and detonation mechanic, to complement the Firepot grenade’s fast cycling. Onslaughter is the Action Skill of choice, in order to acquire Incendiary bonus damage and easier target priming through its Augment. The Vengeance tree offers grenade synergies and a powerful stacking Cryo damage over time as well, leading to multiple different damage types which allow you to handle even Elemental Eater affixes.

The skill choices are centered around the idea of combining Incendiary and Cryo bonus damage as means to augment your Firepot grenade’s damage, while offering a damage profile that isn’t just limited to Grenade Damage either.
Playstyle
The gameplay loop is quite intuitive, and you will be using a mix of Grenades and Guns to prime multiple targets, before forcing a sticky chain reaction with a weapon reload. Stormcutter can be used rather liberally thanks to the cooldown reduction you gain from melee hits, and your Onslaughter uptime can be extended with the use of a Repkit as well.
Skill Breakdown
Listed below are the most important skills which this build revolves around:
- Onslaughter – This is mainly used for the extra Incendiary Damage while throwing grenades and shooting guns.
- Force of Nature – Allows guns and Firepot to Prime targets which can then be detonated with Melee Attacks or with a Forgeskill.
- Fists of Stone – Grants cooldown reduction on an otherwise lengthy Forgeskill.
- Berserk with There Is Only Red – Provide a massive amount of Cryo Damage, especially against dying targets.
- Tail of the Comet – Adds a substantial stacking Cryo Damage over time to grenade stickies.
- Blackout – For a single point, this enable Ordnance to critically hit. Unfortunately the Shock damage over time is currently bugged and does not scale with ranks.
Specializations
While the build requires a good amount of point investment for the very top-end, there are several intermediate choices that still offer noteworthy gains. Your initial choices is to rush either towards Riddle You This or Fragmentation Payload.

The Top 4 perks in the end are as follows:
- Riddle You This – Offers substantial weapon damage scaling;
- Fragmentation Payload – For additional Critical Damage scaling with stickies;
- Bullets are Scared of Me – A defensive layer. Alternatively you can pick Bullet Train for additional mobility and damage;
- The Best Defense – For additional damage.
Gear and Manufacturers
The build is rather open when it comes to weapon choices, but still prefers high damage weapons with stickies synergy, mainly because of the Priming mechanic and the limitation of only being able to apply 10 per target with Force of Nature.
Guns
Guns cover a complementary role in this build, and with the aforementioned synergies there are a few standout choices:
- Generic Purple Torgue shotguns with sticky rounds and possibly Jakobs ricochet. Kinetics are better for higher damage.
- T.K’s Wave – High pellet count and Torgue license part make it a good option.
- Linebacker
- Rainbow Vomit
- San Saba Songbird
- Snipers such as Complex Root and Stop Gap.
An honorable mention here is the Hot Slugger, which is one of the strongest mobbing weapons. The drawback is a single ammo magazine, which forces frequent Sticky detonations, making it less synergistic than the above options.
Ordnance
As the name implies, the Firepot Grenade Ordnance is mandatory in this build.

Class Mod
Another locked slot, mainly due to Cyborg being the only option to have Endless Bombardment, which is the most valuable skill to have.
In terms of bonuses look out for Gun Damage, Ordnance Damage, and Ordnance Crit Chance.
Repkit
A Generic Repkit with Elemental Affinity and Go Go Gadget is a good start, but eventually you will want to to transition towards a Triple Bypass, like the one below.

Shield
Your best options are Firewerks for mobbing, or Super Soldier for more mobility, with gun damage as Legendary choices. Any generic defensive can also work in a pinch.
Enhancements
The manufacturer choice is mostly dependent on what kind of weapon you prefer to run with. Torgue with Head Ringer and Jakobs with Bounce Pass are a solid allrounder choice. For passives, Gun Damage, Gun Critical Damage and Gun Splash Damage are the best.
Firmware
3/3 Gadget Ahoy helps with ordnance damage and cooldown, while 2/3 Airstrike increase splash radius and damage of your stickies.
Quick Tips
- Try to maintain Onslaughter by using Repkits aggressively while mobbing.
- Use your abilities and grenade frequently.
- Firepot takes time to release stickies and build up damage, so try not to reload or swap weapon too often.
- On bosses, consider the following sequence: Onslaughter, Grenade, Forgeskill, then spam gun shots and grenades. Finally, reload.
- Use your Onslaughter melee if you need to reset the cooldown of your Forgeskill.
With this build you will be clubbing and exploding enemies in beautiful chain reactions in no time, taking down even the toughest opponents in style!
