A Simplified Guide to Guild Points in Monster Hunter Wilds!

In Monster Hunter Wilds, Guild Points are a valuable in-game “currency” that you earn through various activities. These points are essential for progressing in the game because you use them for various activities and in-game benefits.

What Are Guild Points Used For?

Guild Points serve multiple purposes in Monster Hunter Wilds. You will need them for the following activities:

  • Pop-Up Camp Set up: If you want to set up any Pop-Up Camp, you will need to spend a few Guild Points.
  • Camp Repairs: In case one of your Pop-Up Camps is destroyed by a monster, you will also need Guild Points to repair it.
  • Ship Purchases: The support ship is run by Santiago in the Windward Plains. You can request and purchase items from him. He will only accept payments in Guild Points.
  • Change the Weather: After a certain point in the story, you will be able to change the weather by visiting your tent. If you spend 300 Guild Points, this will skip you to the next day with the weather of your choice.
  • Investigations: Once High Rank is reached, you will need Guild Points in order to complete Investigations, so make sure to save some.

How to Earn Guild Points?

You do not have to worry, as there are plenty of easy ways to get more Guild Points. In theory, if you are always doing something in the game, you should not run out of Guild Points. However, here are the best ways you can use to gain more Guild Points:

  • Complete Quests: You earn Guild Points primarily by completing quests. This counts for any type of quest. Completing a quest will always reward you with a certain amount of Guild Points.
  • Complete Hunts: When you help someone in their hunt, finish optional hunts, or capture Monsters, you always earn Guild Points.
  • Capture Endemic Life: Use your Capture net to fetch the little bugs you can see here and there. This will reward you with a few Guild Points as well.
  • Catch Fish: If you need some chill time, Fishing is a good option to get some additional Guild Points.

The fastest way seems to be fishing. Some fish can reward you with up to 100 Guild Points, so it may be worth stopping by some lake or river and catching some fish!

The Scarlet Forest is one of the best fishing spots. You can even use your capture net to get some in the Underground Lake in Area 8.

This spot is slightly hidden at the top of the Scarlet Forest map. You need to cross through a waterfall to get there, but you can set up a Pop-Up camp near it. This allows you to teleport in and out whenever you want to catch some fish and get a good amount of Guild Points!
