We have some bad news for those that are looking for the Altars on their own, as well as a heads up for those that might be having trouble using the guides. It seems that Lilith’s little statues can spawn or even turn invisible!
It’s not clear what causes this, whether it’s related to the game starting or if it’s something that happens later on. In any case, Never4end noticed that one of the Altars was missing when they were following a guide. Luckily they also found away to rectify the situation.
There are a few proposed solutions. Never4end‘s solution was to restart the game and then the statue appears after you log back in. It’s not completely clear whether they meant actually shutting down the game completely or just logging out, but it seems logical that either one should work. Other players have suggested simply town portalling can work as well, or joining a party, but those haven’t been confirmed.
While this is somewhat of an inconvenience to those that are going for the Altars in a targeted way via a guide, the fact that this is even possible is pretty terrible for those that are actually trying to find them on their own.
