The Diablo 4 PTR for patch version 2.0 is expected to start today, September 4th, 2024, at 6pm BST / 1pm EDT / 10am PDT. You can already install the PTR through battle.net, but if you try to get in early, you will get an error!
The PTR is available for PC battle.net players in the following regions: North America, Europe, Korea and Japan, South America, and Australia.
The following features from your existing characters have been carried over to the PTR:
- Campaign Completion
- Mounts and Skill Points
- Fog of War
- Altar of Lilith Stat bonuses
This time, the PTR will be split into two distinct phases. In the first half, the Diablo 4 team wants us to experience the changes without any character boosts. This is why the Boost NPC will only be available starting September 6th.
After September 6th, you can find the NPC in Kyovashad. Talking to this NPC will give you the option to boost your character with the following features:
Remember that it is important to provide as much feedback as possible during the PTR. To do so, you can use the in-game feedback tool (ESC -> Bug Menu -> Then select the dropdown filter and the in-game feedback tool) to provide feedback without leaving the game.
