Bandai Namco has surprised everyone with a mysterious stop-motion teaser inspired by the Little Nightmares universe! More than just a trailer for the upcoming game, this short video gives us a glimpse into a beautifully handcrafted mini-film made by El Taller del Chucho, and it’s full of that strange Little Nightmares vibe.

What Does This Teaser Mean?
Bandai didn’t reveal much outside of the teaser itself, so we don’t yet know if this is:
- A preview of a new Little Nightmares game
- A standalone stop-motion short
- Or something even bigger, like a full series
Interestingly, back in 2017, Bandai confirmed a TV series based on Little Nightmares was in the works. But since then, there’s been total silence. Many fans now believe this new teaser could finally be our first real look at that long-lost project, and that it could be done entirely in stop-motion.
Why Stop-Motion Fits So Well
Stop-motion animation feels like a perfect match for the creepy and childlike world of Little Nightmares. The handmade look, the odd puppet-like movements, and the dark lighting style all blend beautifully with the franchise’s unsettling tone.
If this teaser really is part of something bigger, like a series or film, it’s safe to say the Little Nightmares universe is about to get even more haunting… and we’re here for it!
