Blizzard has started internal testing for Patch 11.1.7, with an encrypted build appearing on the WoW Vendor 3 development branch. This indicates that while details remain scarce, the patch is actively being worked on behind the scenes.
Patch 11.1.7: What We Know So Far
Currently, information on Patch 11.1.7 is limited. The official roadmap for retail WoW for 2025 only mentions story updates and another round of Turbulent Timeways, an event that just concluded with the launch of Patch 11.1.
Patch 11.2: The Final Major Patch of The War Within
Blizzard is also progressing on Patch 11.2, the final major update of The War Within. A new encrypted internal build (11.2.0.59585) was recently spotted on the WoW Dev 6 development branch.
We expect a steady content cadence with Patch 11.1.5 now available on the PTR and two patches in testing.
