According to various reports on both the official forums and Reddit, Blizzard is handing out bans for trading in Diablo 4.
While we haven’t heard anything from Blizzard regarding the latest round of Diablo 4 suspensions, we have players on multiple platforms reporting account closures.

On August 15, Blizzard temporarily suspended player trading due to an item/gold duplication exploit. This is just pure speculation at this point until Blizzard provides us with more details in a blue post, but maybe the suspensions were handed out to players abusing the item/gold duplication exploits.
