Blizzard Working on Monster Density Increases for Season 1 of Diablo 4

Monster density has been a very hot-topic issue for a while now. The complaints started in earnest with the nerfing of monster density in select dungeons after players had found the best ones to farm. Luckily, Blizzard have now responded to community feedback and will be working on improvements!

This detail comes from today’s patch notes and may have slipped past you in the seas of updates. The density improvements will be coming early in Season 1, or at least are planned to:

Developer’s Note: We are currently working on increasing the monster and elite density of end-game content and plan to introduce this change early in Season 1.


Hopefully this means we can get all Nightmare Dungeons to have solid density and be worth playing. And as for the rest of the end-game content, more monsters is always good!
