Brighter Shores has officially reached its one-month milestone, and it has been a busy and exciting journey so far! The developers have kept their promise of providing consistent weekly updates, introducing quality-of-life improvements, new features, and many, many bug fixes. Every Important Update So Far
The Brighter Shores team has made significant progress in polishing the game over the past month. Here is a breakdown of the biggest updates and changes:
Quality of Life Improvements
- Custom Keybinds: Players can now modify their keybinds through the settings panel, making controls feel more natural.
- Minimap Improvements: The minimap has been upgraded to show your route path and now allows you to click to walk to connected rooms – no more guessing where to go next!
- Improved Shops: Shops now include “Buy Max” and “Sell All” buttons for faster transactions.
- Automatic Combat Switching: Your weapon will automatically switch from ranged to melee if you run out of ammo during combat.
General Changes
- Total Player Level Display: Instead of showing just your combat level, the game now displays your total level for a clearer view of your overall progress.
- Quest Rewards: The Brannof Inheritance quest received additional rewards, giving players more incentive to complete it.
New Features
- Leaderboards: A brand-new leaderboard system lets players compare their progress with others. Opting in will display your name on the leaderboard for those who want to show off their achievements.
