The first free title update for Monster Hunter Wilds will launch with the awaited Arena Quests! You will finally be able to challenge yourself, but also rank against other players. All Hunters can take part in the Arena challenges! Here is everything we know so far about it!
What Is the Arena
The Arena is a place where you can participate in time-based competition quests. The goal will be to race against other hunters across the world!
You can compete alone or with a partner. The teams will be limited to a maximum of two members. You will also have to use specific equipment. This is in order to put all players at the same level of base power, forcing you to rely on your skills more than your equipment, and providing fair competition for all Hunters!
You can take on the Arena Quests from the Arena Quest Counter in the Grand Hub!
Arena Rankings
You can view world rankings on the Expedition Record Board at the entrance of the Grand Hub.
The Expedition Record Board will also give you access to limited bounties for Arena Quests and more!
Challenge Quests & Free Challenge Quests
Additionally, you will also be able to take on Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests, which will be available as limited-time Event Quests in the Arena.
Participating in those will reward you with special Pendants depending on your rank and completion time!
Challenge Quests are also limited to 2 hunters only and specific equipment. However, Free Challenge Quests can be completed with four hunters and have no gear restrictions. You can also use Support Hunters (the NPCs) for the Free Challenge Quests.
