Mount collector and transmog hunters, it’s time to cancel your raid night and log every alt you have! The Collector’s Bounty buff is live from July 1 through July 29, resulting in increased drop chances of mounts and loot.
Here are some useful tips to make the most out of the event.
Get Organized with Simple Armory’s Mount Planner
Start by deciding which mounts and mogs you want most. Don’t go in blind, use Simple Armory’s Planner to map out a personal mount route for your account. It will automatically adapt based on what you’re missing!
Speed is Loot: Movement, Skips, and Shortcuts
As you will be farming a lot of raids with a lot of alts, movement is the key! Therefore, you should equip gear with the Speed stat, use class teleports and toys, and respect for instant-cast mobility.
Food like 
Fried Bonefish and 
Exquisitely Eviscerated Muscle will be very useful during the event.
It’s also good to know which raids offer skips. For instance, we just covered a Firelands skip that lets you skip from Alysrazor straight to Majordomo / Ragnaros.
Know Your Drop Rules
Maybe this one sounds too obvious, but certain mounts only drop on Mythic difficuly, while other drop in LFR. Make sure you know the difficulty before wasting a lockout!
For example, 
G.M.O.D. drops from Raid Finder difficulty, whereas 
Glacial Tidestorm drops from Mythic difficulty.
Consider Skipping Legion (For Now)
The community is anticipating that in Legion Remix, Blizzard will bring back hard-to-get mounts and allow players to buy them from vendors, similar to what they did in MoP Remix. That’s why you shouldn’t focus on Legion mounts and mogs primarily. However, this is all based on assumptions and nothing has been officially confirmed by Blizzard.
