Diablo 4 Players Are Getting 4,000 Obducite Per Run Right Now

Been farming ObduciteObducite lately in Diablo 4? You might have noticed something strange… or rather, something awesome: players are getting a massive 4,000 Obducite per Kurast Undercity Tribute run (up from the usual 2,000), and it is making endgame gear upgrades way easier.

Although Blizzard never officially announced this change in any patch notes, it seems to have quietly gone live during, or shortly before the Goblin event; and yes, it still works as of now.

It does not even matter if this is a stealth buff or just a happy bug, the community is loving it. With ObduciteObducite being an important resource for Masterworking gear, this bonus is a huge deal, especially if you are trying to max-out your endgame loadout.

Here is how it works:

  • Solo Runs: You get the full 4,000 Obducite every time, with no strings attached.
  • Party Runs: One player in the party randomly gets 4k, the others get 2k each. Some thought it might be tied to who used the tribute or party leader status, but it seems to be completely random.
  • Still worth partying up? Even with split rewards, a single Tribute used in a 4-player group yields a total of 8k–10k Obducite overall.
  • No more 0 Obducite runs; the old bugged dud runs seem to be fixed.

So how can you take full advantage of it?

  • Farm Tributes of Refinement through Infernal Hordes, especially 6-wave runs; they are fast and efficient.
  • As explained: Each Tribute can now get you 4k Obducite when used in an Undercity run.
  • That means you can potentially rack up 35k–40k ObduciteObducite per hour, making this one of the most efficient farming loops right now.

Again, if you are playing in co-op, keep in mind that only one player who claims the Tribute chest gets the full 4k. So if you are running in a group, make sure to run multiple Undercity runs, and take turns looting it, or go solo if you want to keep it all.

Also worth noting: To get the full reward, your Tribute run must be done with full attunement. Players testing lower attunement levels only received around 1,200 Obducite, so max it out beforehand!

It is still not clear if this is a permanent change or just a temporary boost, but now is a great time to stock up while it lasts!
