Awakening the Machine event is finally available with the weekly reset, but the rewards cache mysteriously vanishes after someone else opens it.
Cache Disappears After Looting
Multiple players are reporting that the cache you get after completing 5 waves during the event mysteriously vanishes after someone else loots it on live servers.
We’ve even heard reports of other players outside your party stealing your chests!
WARNING Do not do the Awakened Cache. People outside of your party can take your chests!

Awakened Cache
As you can see in the screenshot below, the cache is divided into 4 parts. Every 5 waves, you will receive progress and can loot rewards from the cache, but under mysterious circumstances, the cache just vanishes in thin air, rendering players unable to receive any rewards, currently on live servers.
For now, refrain from completing the event, until Blizzard releases a hotfix for the issue!
