Easier Farming in Monster Hunter Wilds – Wishlist Explained

Monster Hunter Wilds often requires you to farm specific materials depending on the weapon or armor you want to craft. However, it can be hard to keep track of all the materials needed. A small feature that you may not pay attention to exists, that can make life much easier for those looking to craft gear. When you add an armor piece to your wishlist, the game will automatically pin the monsters you need materials from in the “Optional Quests” tab.

A Long-Awaited Improvement

Keeping track of required materials for specific armor sets can be frustrating. You often have to switch back and forth between the Smithy and the quest menu to stay on top of your progress. With this feature, you will have an easier time just knowing what monster to target.

How Does It Work?

When you add an equipment piece to your Smithy wishlist, the game automatically marks the monsters associated with the required materials. These monsters will then appear in the “Optional Quests” tab, making it easier to plan your hunts and eliminating unnecessary trips to the Smithy.

A Significant Time Saver

This extra feature is especially useful for players who want to optimize their gameplay time. No more manually checking which creatures to hunt. The system will directly point you to the proper quests. This allows for more efficient farming sessions and lets you focus on what truly matters: hunting and upgrading your gear.
