Elden Ring Patch 1.02 Delayed Due to Natural Causes!

FromSoftware has announced a last-minute delay to the release of Patch 1.02 for Elden Ring: Nightreign. This is due to safety concerns because of the recent earthquake and following Tsunami warnings near the Kamchatka Peninsula.

The patch, originally set to launch today (July 30), will now instead launch on July 31 after 10:00 CEST/1:00 PDT.

The official Elden Ring X/Twitter account explained that the decision was made out of caution and respect for the ongoing natural disaster alerts. For now, the patch is only delayed one day. But as the natural disasters are unpredictable, be aware that it may still change.

As a result of this specific patch being delayed, the second cycle of the Everdark Sovereign event, originally planned to begin at 03:00 CEST / 18:00 PDT on July 30, has also been pushed back. It will now begin once the patch 1.02 is fully deployed. So most likely the next day.

The team thanked players for their patience and understanding, but no additional changes to the release timeline or patch contents have been announced at this time.

Keep an eye on our latest news, as we will update you as soon as more information is released regarding the patch! And most importantly, stay safe out there if you are located near the earthquake or tsunami warnings!
