Genshin Impact‘s upcoming character, Ifa, has had his animations showcased in a recent leak! Ifa is an upcoming character that will most likely release during 5.6. He is known as the veterinarian from the Flower-Feather Clan in Natlan, and is always accompanied by a small saurian. Here is what we know so far about his abilities and what his animations look like!
A New Anemo Catalyst
The latest leaks confirm that Ifa is an Anemo Catalyst character. He fights with a gun, and uses his saurian to fly into the air and levitate for a while. You can see some of his gameplay in the following video:
Ifa’s Skills, Passives, and Constellations
The following information comes from leaks, and can still be changed until release, so take it with a grain of salt! Knowing that, here is a first look at what should be Ifa’s kit, with his abilities, passives, and even constellations:
Ifa’s normal attacks are rather basic, as he just seems to be shooting straight forward with his gun, dealing anemo damage. His elemental skill and burst is where things get interesting:
- Elemental Skill: When you activate it, Ifa enters his Nightsoul Blessing state, and will use his Saurian, Cacucu, to fly up in the air and hover for a while. When he is in the air, you can use your normal attack:
- You either tap it to fire Medicinal Bullets, that deal Anemo Nightsoul-aligned damage, and also heal party members. His heal scales with Elemental Mastery
- You can hold your normal attack as well, which allows you to shoot continuous medicinal bullets that also deal anemo damage and heal
- Elemental Burst: His burst launches an anemo field that explodes upon impact, and creates a wind field that pulls in nearby enemies and deals anemo damage
- If this field pulls in Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro elements, it will apply a special mark that explodes after a certain amount of time, dealing AoE elemental damage (of the element that was absorbed). Only 4 enemies can have the mark at once, and only one element per enemy
- His A1 Passive also seems to boost Swirl and Electro-Charged reactions trigger by nearby party members
The chances are, if you already have a good Elemental Mastery Viridescent Venerer set from other Anemo characters, you should be able to also use it on Ifa as well. This will save you the trouble of having to farm for another set.
