Fontaine fans can get ready! Genshin Impact’s Version 5.4 character banners will bring back none other than Fontaine’s Archon and the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide — Furina and Wriothesley are making their return in the next limited-time event banners!
Banner Schedule and 5-Star Characters
According to the official announcement, the upcoming banners are scheduled for March 4th, 2025 and will feature the following characters:
- Furina (5-Star Hydro, Sword) – The Hydro Archon of Fontaine and a versatile support/DPS hybrid with powerful party-wide buffs.
- Wriothesley (5-Star Cryo, Catalyst) – The Duke of Meropide, a melee-style Catalyst user who excels in sustained Cryo damage and self-sustain mechanics.
These banners are expected to be part of Version 5.4 Phase 2, and will run for approximately 20 days as usual.
4-Star Characters and Featured Weapons
Additionally, both banners will feature three 4-star characters which will have an increased chance of dropping if you pull on those banners:
- Mika (4-star Cryo, Polearm) – A shy character from Mondstadt who acts as both a Healer and a Support for Physical damage characters.
- Chongyun (4-Star Cryo) – A Burst Support from Liyue who can infuse Cryo and enable Melt and Freeze.
- Charlotte (4-star Cryo Catalyst) – Fontaine’s best journalist who supports the team with her Kamera and photography skills.
The weapon banner will also bring back Furina and Wriothesley’s signature weapons:
- Splendor of Tranquil Waters – Furina’s best-in-slot weapon, boosting her HP and Skill damage.
- Cashflow Supervision – Wriothesley’s signature weapon, enhancing his attack power.
Should You Pull for Furina or Wriothesley?
Furina remains one of the most sought-after Archons, offering flexible team compositions and exceptional Hydro application, making her a strong pick for any players. Furina fits into a wide range of teams, boosting their damage and providing strong support, making her a great choice regardless of your main character.
Wriothesley is an excellent Cryo DPS option for those looking to invest in a self-sustaining, hard-hitting character with strong elemental reactions. He is a perfect pick if you are looking for a good Cryo DPS with not that much investment needed.
