With Version 5.7 that just started, early leaks for Genshin Impact 5.8 have begun to surface! This time pointing toward the next set of character banners. While nothing is confirmed yet, trusted sources have given us a good look at what players might expect once 5.8 rolls around.

New 5-Star Character: Ineffa
According to the leaks, Ineffa, an upcoming Electro character believed to center around the new Moonshock reaction, will be making her first banner run in 5.8. Not much is officially known yet about her full kit, but early beta info suggests she will have passives that convert Electro-Charged into Moonshock, making her a core unit for new reaction-based teams.
5-Star Reruns in Version 5.8
Also included in the leaked banner lineup are three rerun characters, all introduced during the Natlan cycle:
- Mualani – the Hydro damage dealer with fast-paced AoE attacks
- Chasca – known for her unique Anemo-Gun-Flying style gameplay
- Citlali – Everyone’s favorite Granny
These reruns are a great chance for anyone who missed out during their original banners, or who want constellations to boost their favorite Natlan character.
What About 4-Stars?
Unfortunately, there’s no information yet on the 4-star characters that will be featured on Ineffa’s or the rerun banners. These usually leak closer to the patch’s release, so we’ll keep an eye out for updates.
