Once the Genshin Impact Version Luna I goes live, you can take part in a new event system called To Temper Thyself and Journey Far. This long-term event gives Travelers a chance to earn plenty of rewards, including the rare opportunity to pick a free 5-star character’s Stella Fortuna of their choice. Yes, that means you can unlock one constellation for a 5-star character you already own, completely free!
The first season of the event will run from the launch of Luna I until December 1, 2025 (03:59 am server time). After that, a new season will begin, making this a permanent, recurring system.
Eligibility
To join, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Adventure Rank 14 or higher
- Complete Knights of Favonius in Archon Quest Prologue Act I: The Outlander Who Caught the Wind
- Complete the World Quest Welcome to the Adventurer’s Guild
How It Works
- Each day, you must complete two simple objectives to hit the daily training goal:
- Claim 4 commission rewards
- Spend a total of 120 Original Resin
- Finishing 5 daily training goals in one week completes the weekly training goal.
- Completing 8 weekly training goals over the 12-week event duration will allow you to claim all rewards, including the free Stella Fortuna.
Rewards
Besides the 5-star Stella Fortuna, players can also earn Crown of Insight, Sanctifying Elixirs, Dust of Enlightenment, and more. The pool of Stella Fortuna includes 18 event-exclusive characters and 7 standard characters (for now).
Important Notes
- You can only claim a Stella Fortuna for characters you already own.
- Each listed character can only be redeemed once, so you can’t farm multiple copies for the same unit (there goes my C6 Xiao…).
- You can check your progress anytime via the Events page or the Adventurer’s Handbook under the Commissions tab.
In short, this new system is basically a free constellation event pass that rewards consistent play over the season. If you are regular with commissions and resin use, you will be guaranteed a free 5★ constellation by the end, for a total of 4 per year.
