GTA 6 Trailer 2 Just Shattered YouTube Records!
Rockstar surprise-dropped the second GTA 6 trailer today, and it is already making history. Less than two hours after going live, the trailer passed 9.2 million views on YouTube and hit 1 million likes in under 40 minutes.
That makes it the fastest gaming video ever to reach 1 million likes, beating out even Rockstar’s own first GTA 6 trailer from December.
Massive Hype, Zero Warning
The trailer was posted without warning and immediately took off. Just 50 minutes in, it already had over a million likes and was trending across YouTube globally.
As of now, view count numbers are still climbing fast (currently at ~10M views and 2M likes in just 2 hours). Some are speculating it might even break the all-time view record for a game trailer within 24 hours.
Is This the Most Popular Game Reveal Ever?
It is hard to say for sure without full YouTube data, but no other video game trailer appears to have reached this level of engagement this quickly. For comparison:
- GTA 6 Trailer 1 hit 90M views in 24 hours (a record for game trailers)
- Trailer 2 already has over 9M in just two hours – and growing fast
We will keep watching the numbers, but if this trend continues, GTA 6 is on track to become the biggest game launch of all time (to no one’s surprise, really).
