GTA VI Trailer Cinematic & Gameplay Confirmed Captured on PS5

Rockstar Games has once again raised the bar with the release of GTA VI’s highly anticipated Trailer 2. What makes this reveal even more impressive is that every shot, from jaw-dropping cinematics to fluid gameplay sequences, was entirely captured on a PlayStation 5.

Rockstar officially confirmed that both cinematics and real gameplay shown in the trailer were fully recorded on the PS5, showcasing the actual raw power and capabilities of Sony’s hardware, pushing its performance to levels rarely seen in current titles.

Cinematics and Gameplay Naturally Combined

One of the standout features of Trailer 2 is how Rockstar cleverly combines cinematic sequences with actual gameplay. It’s hard to know which parts are cinematics, and which are actual gameplay! Everything is rendered with impeccable detail, highlighting the capabilities of the current console.

A Technical Wonder

The fact that the trailer was entirely captured on PlayStation 5 is a testament to both Rockstar’s optimization and Sony’s powerful hardware. From lighting and particle effects to character animations, every detail looks polished and realistic. It’s clear that Rockstar is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible on the console.

This also sets the bar high for the PC launch later on. If your computer is at its limits technically, you may want to upgrade some hardware before the game comes to PC! This is not a game you want to play on low graphics!

What This Means for Launch

If Trailer 2 is any indication, GTA VI is set to deliver a visually spectacular and deeply immersive experience. With the game being fine-tuned to take advantage of PlayStation’s hardware, you can expect a level of detail that could set new standards for the future.

The only downside is that this may also mean a very high price. Rumors are set around 100 euro just for the normal game, which would also be a first. However, remember that no price has been confirmed by Rockstar yet!
