The 3.4 livestream titled For the Sun is Set to Die just aired, and it was packed with major reveals, collabs, and upgrades. Hosted once again by Owlbert (your favorite talking owl), with special guests Anaxa, Phainon, and Mem, here’s everything that’s coming soon in version 3.4!

New Character: Phainon
Say hello to your new version of Phainon, a Physical Destruction character with a powerful change:
- Starts in normal form, collects Coreflames using his Skill.
- Once charged, he enters another Mode with his Ultimate, transforming the battlefield into a one-man show.
- While transformed, he’s solo on the field, but get buffs from all allies.
- He gains access to three powerful abilities and becomes a destructive force.
Phainon’s story is closely tied to the truth behind Amphoreus, and we’ll explore a brand-new zone from his past, before he became a Chrysos Heir.
Story Progression: Amphoreus Continues
The main story picks up under the burning skies: you will help return the very last Coreflame. The old storybook interface is getting a makeover as well, and will now help you unlock more Amphoreus secrets.
On top of that, be ready for a new animated short that is also on the way to explain key story details.
Major QoL Upgrades
- Dialogue skip per section – You can finally skip chunk-by-chunk instead of spamming!
- Story recap feature – Rewatch key story moments easily.

Combat Reworks: Fan Favorites Get Buffed
Big reworks are coming for several popular characters, and they’re toggleable, meaning you can switch between old and new skill sets at any time:
- Silver Wolf: Her Ultimate now lowers DEF for all enemies. Weakness implant now follows team priority.
- Kafka: Triggers more DoTs and has a follow-up that activates additional debuffs.
- Blade: While in Hellscape, regenerates energy and dishes out more follow-ups.
- Jingliu: Gains Crit Rate when teammates lose HP, making her state last longer with better damage.
Eidolons for these characters are being adjusted to match their new kits.
Firefly’s First Skin
Firefly gets a school uniform skin (yes, Sam too, minus the skirt). Can be bought with Oneiric Shards only.

Fate/Stay Night Collab Starts July 11
The Fate collaboration event is finally coming! Playable collab characters will be Saber and Archer, however, Owlbert did mention Lancer? But no additional information was given for him. Here’s what we know:
- Archer is free! You can just log in to claim him.
- A brand-new 5-star character will also be given for free (not announced yet, maybe Lancer? No one knows).
- Banners for Saber and Archer will run across multiple versions and include their Light Cones.
- Any Warps spent during 3.4 count toward earning a free 5-star Light Cone (including pulls made on Light Cones or Phainon)!
- The collab takes place in Penacony, with a unique Holy Grail War event featuring:
- Trailblazer, Robin, Aventurine, Boothill, Saber, Archer, and Lancer
- The event features its own quest and lore-packed fights.
