How to Get Hateforged Blazecycle Mount, Pets, Cosmetics: Mountain Dew Promotion Is Live + Point Costs

It’s finally here! The Mountain Dew promotion has gone live and we get to see everything that’s available as well as their point costs!

Update: in case you were wondering if you can even get the codes working on EU accounts, yes you can!

What Is This Promotion?

Doritos, Mountain Dew and Rockstar are holding a new 20th WoW Anniversary promotion where you can gather points to spend on WoW items. There’s pets, transmog, a mount and an Epic edition of the War Within expansion to be had. The event started today and lasts through the end of January 2025. It is also US only and you can’t even without a US IP address.

The Rewards, Costs and How to Get Points

The WoW community has already got it all covered! SucculentScience has a great overview image of everything related to the promotion, from the items themselves to point costs and what products you can get the points from! You can check out the promotion site yourself here.

  • Hateforged Blazecycle iconHateforged Blazecycle

The main prize is, of course, the mount, and players are already showcasing it!

Interestingly, the purple blazecycle is nowhere to be seen. We expected it to be related to the Xal’atah themed Dew, but we only see the red version above. The green cycle is a reward from the currently ongoing Guest Relations questline in the 20th Anniversary event. You can’t get it yet, but the questline will be fully available soon, as it unlocks a new quest periodically.

A Word of Warning

There is a bit of a catch in the points distribution. It seems you can only redeem 5 codes a day for points. This means if you buy individual cans, as armanesti did, you will have to wait until tomorrow to get enough for the mount!

So if you can, get the larger packages that have the codes, or just wait a day.

As you can imagine, EU players are currently scrambling to get some friendly US players to help them out!

Things should improve once the green blazecycle quest arrives, but who wouldn’t want the red version as well!
