Before spending all Aether on the Spoils of Gold, the player had 12,483,132 gold. After that, they ended up with 85,378,964 gold, earning more than 72 million gold from a single run that took around 10 minutes. But what does that mean for the average player?
This new method may ultimately cause inflation resulting in higher prices for items.
Rob2628 shared a video covering the steps necessary for efficient gold farming in Infernal Hordes and here are the highlights:
- First, complete the season quest to unlock Infernal Compasses.
- You can obtain them from Helltides, Whispers, and Nightmare Dungeons. Compasses are needed to enter Hell and complete Infernal Hordes.
- Always pick Aether multipliers for your run to maximize the amount of Aether.
- Your pets will automatically collect Aether for you.
- At the end of the Infernal Hordes event, you can select multiple rewards, one of them is a gold chest, which provides insane gold. For example, 400 Aether can yield up to 40 million gold.
Rob also shared some tips for efficient farming:
- Play a tier that is comfortably manageable.
- Avoid high tiers unless you have strong end-game builds with Mythic Uniques.
- Focus on AoE-oriented builds, like Whirlwind Barbarian that can efficiently handle waves of mobs.
