For Japanese Mogstation purchases, the sales tax is included in the cost.

The Belt-leather Attire comes in two different variations, each with their own unique Body, Legs, and Feet pieces. There is also a separate purchase you can make for the Hat and Gloves, the Belt-leather Beret and Fingerstalls Set. So pretty good for Viera and Hrothgar Warriors of Light!

How Much Does It Cost?

Now, you can’t get these pieces anywhere else in-game: they must be purchased off the Mogstation store, with real-life currency, and with the other pieces mentioned per set. So no single-item purchases, they’re a set-purchase only! This begs the question, are the pieces really worth buying the whole set for?

Belt-Leather Attire Sets

Let’s take a look at each individual set: for both Belt-leather Attire sets, you get three pieces each, which is around $6 USD / £3.72 / 4.50 € / 660 円 (税込) per piece. As always, the cost depends on which regional Mogstation store you purchase from.

So it’s honestly not that bad; you can use the Body pieces in many glamours, and if you don’t have a good Feet option yet, both the Belt-leather Boots and Belt-leather Loafers are decent. The Legs are a different case though: the Trousers are more versatile, while the Cropped Slops… are an acquired taste, perhaps. (I certainly like them!)

One of the things I like is that every piece in each set is unique. You aren’t getting the same Body, Legs, nor Feet pieces, so it can be worth to purchase both sets (if you want).

Belt-Leather Beret and Fingerstalls Set

Then, what about the Belt-leather Beret and Fingerstalls Set? This set features the Hat and Gloves, and go for around $3 USD / £1.80 / 2.61 € / 330 円 (税込) per piece.

But it’s honestly unfortunate; the Belt-leather Beret hat is not visible on Vieras and Hrothgars. So if you play as any of these races, you’re mostly using just the Fingerstalls, that’s it. I’m not sure if I’d pay for gloves at the same cost of a nice top… Especially since these gloves are similar to many others in-game already.

Honestly, it’s a pretty big cost altogether at a total of $24 USD / £14.76 / 18.72 € / 2,640 円 (税込). If you purchase all three sets, the total cost raises to $42 USD / £25.92 / 32.22 € / 4,620 円 (税込). Yikes!

How Does the Belt-Leather Attire Dye?

FFXIV Mogstation Belt-leather Attire Set Dyed 3 Different Ways

Thankfully, every piece does have a secondary dye slot. However, this should be the standard for all glamours, especially paid ones in 2025. So unfortunately, it’s not that amazing, but appreciated nonetheless.

The primary dye slots are for the actual clothing part of the glamour sets. So we’re thinking the hat, shirt, pants, and shoes. And yes, your character’s shoulder blades are exposed with the Open-back Belt-leather Harness Top! If you’ve got a legacy tattoo, it won’t probably show either (sorry!).

The secondary dye slots are for the belts! For every piece you own, there’s at least one dyeable leather belt. This also includes the Fingerstalls and Beret! They all dye well in my opinion, but oh boy, my wallet…
