What Is Mecha BREAK?
Mecha BREAK is a multiplayer third-person shooter all about giant robots, high-speed action, and very cool battles on land and in the air. You will pilot customizable mechs called Strikers, and team up with others across three distinct game modes.
You can engage in fast 3v3 skirmishes or full-on large-scale fights, Mecha BREAK promises intense action, eye-catching visuals, and a variety of combat styles. The game has been refined through several beta tests and is finally ready for global release on Xbox Series X/S and PC, with PS5 support coming later.

While Mecha BREAK has an official release time of July 2 at 12:00 PM (Beijing Time), that translates to different times around the world. Depending on your timezone, you might be able to start playing as early as today, July 1.

Note that there is no early access period, everyone gets in at the same time globally.
However, preloading went live on June 29, so you can download the game ahead of time. The install size is just over 30GB, and you can pre-load it now on Steam and the Xbox Store to be ready the second it unlocks.
Will Mecha BREAK Support Crossplay?
Yes, Mecha BREAK supports crossplay between Xbox Series X/S and PC. That means you can squad up with friends regardless of platform.
However, PS5 players will have to wait a bit, as the game won’t be available on Sony’s console at launch. There is also no confirmed cross-progression between platforms, so progress on PC likely won’t carry over to PS5 later.
Is Mecha BREAK on Game Pass?
Yes! Even though Mecha BREAK is a free-to-play game, it is also available through Xbox Game Pass for extra visibility, and Game Pass subscribers get exclusive bonuses:
