The launch of Monster Hunter Wilds is just days away, but Capcom has one last big reveal before we all jump into the hunt!
Later today, on February 25, 2025, at 12 PM PT / 8 PM GMT, we will get a final community livestream, where they will go over the latest gameplay reveals and give us one last look at what is coming!

What to Expect from the Livestream
Capcom has confirmed that they will be covering:
- Tempered Monsters – Even stronger and more unpredictable than before!
- The Wounded Hollow – This seems to be a secretive new area or mechanic.
- The Iceshard Cliffs – One of the game’s new regions featuring frozen landscapes, caverns, and Nescylla nests.
Tempered Monsters Are Back and More Dangerous Than Ever!
Tempered Monsters are returning in Wilds, and they are looking even tougher than before. If you are new to the franchise and do not know what tempered monsters are: These monsters are faster, more aggressive, and will push even the best of us hunters to their limits. Capcom will show off how they behave in Wilds’ new environments and what kinds of rewards we can expect for taking them down.
The Wounded Hollow – What Is It?
Capcom has been teasing The Wounded Hollow, but they have not revealed much about it yet. From what we know so far, it possibly seems to tie into the game’s new wounding system, where players can target blue-glowing monster parts for extra damage. Some players think it could be a special area where wounded monsters retreat, while others seem to believe it is a new gameplay mechanic that takes the combat system to another level. Either way, it is something completely new to the series, so today’s livestream should finally give us some answers.
Another Look at the Iceshard Cliffs
The Iceshard Cliffs is a freezing, harsh region where both the weather and the wildlife will make survival a challenge. The stream will take us on a tour of this icy landscape, showcasing its massive monsters, extreme weather effects, and how hunters will have to adapt to the cold. Brrr!
