Heads up, hunters: The first fee Title Update for Monster Hunter Wilds is right around the corner. Here is everything you need to know in order to be properly prepared for it!
Server Maintenance
As a reminder, the first free title update will release on April 3, 8pm PT/April 4, 4am BST. The server maintenance will be performed as follows:
- March 31, 12am PT/8am BST — during this time, you may experience some issues and server errors.
- ︀︀April 3, 3pm PT to 8pm PT/April 3, 11pm BST to April 4, 4am BST — server maintenance will be conducted during this time. All online functions, such as multiplayer, will be unavailable. The First Title update will be released right after the maintenance is completed.
Be careful, as the time of maintenance is still subject to change. It may take longer. You also want to make sure that you grab your login bonus and limited bounties before the server maintenance starts.
You can play offline during the maintenance if you wish, however, you will have to make sure you exit the game and update it to the latest version if you want to have access to the new content.
Update Content and Events
As mentioned before, the first free title update will be released on April 3, 8pm PT/April 4, 4am BST! This update comes with the following content and new events:
- Mizutsune appears – Challenge the slippery beast and craft the new gear! You need to be HR21+ to be able to take on the mission from Kanya in the Scarlet Forest.
- Arch-Tempered Rey Dau will appear in an event quest, but only at a later date, so keep your eyes open for more information soon!
- Zoh Shia now available in repeatable hunts – You need to reach HR50+ first before being able to take on the quest in the Ruins of Wyveria, and get the new gear!
- A new base called the Grand Hub has been added, where hunters can interact with each other!
- Arena Quests make their return! They also come with Challenge quests and Free challenge quests.
- Alma is getting new glasses and outfits!
- The first Seasonal Event arrives on April 23: Join the Festival of Accord — Blossomdance, for a beautiful spring celebration!
- Further additions, various fixes and adjustments, etc.
