Capcom has rolled out a new patch for Monster Hunter Wilds across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam, fixing various bugs that were affecting progression and accessibility. However, some known issues are still under investigation and will be addressed in future updates.
Fixed Issues (PS5, Xbox, & Steam)
- Smithy Menu Bug: A repeated tutorial prompt at the Smithy caused most menu options to be grayed out and unusable. This has now been fixed on all platforms.
- Patch Installation Note: Players must restart the game after installing the update for changes to take effect. The latest version displayed on the title screen should now be 1.000.03.00.
Ongoing Issues Still Under Investigation
Despite the patch, some problems remain and are being worked on across all platforms:
- Food Facility Unlock Bug: Some players still cannot access the Food Distribution Center or Campfire Cooking, even after meeting the requirements.
- Chapter 5-2 NPC Bug: In the “A World Turned Upside Down” mission, certain NPCs do not appear, preventing progression.
Capcom has already acknowledged these issues and confirmed that fixes are in development. More updates will be provided once they are ready!
