Ultimate decoration farming method

Monster Hunter Wilds – Ultimate Guide to Decoration & Relic Farm!

Farming in Monster Hunter Wilds can take quite some time, especially for Decorations or Relics, as Monsters do not necessarily drop a lot of them at once. However, a Reddit user has lately shared an in-depth farming method for those items. And while we have recently covered a short explanation of this farm in an earlier news post about ‘How to Get the Best Decorations,’ we want to go a little bit more into detail.

As previously mentioned, this method focuses around Nightflower Pollen, a rare plant that can be force-farmed during a Full Moon. Here is a small breakdown of this method.

If you need more visual details, you can head to the original Reddit post from r/LeBahz:

How It Works

You will have to gather Nightflower Pollen. Once you have enough, you can head over to Sekka’s shop in the Suja Peaks of Accord. Sekka will trade the Nightflower Pollen against Golden Melding Tickets, Golden Relic Tickets, and Hard Armor Spheres.

How to Get Nightflower Pollen

Nightflower Pollen can only be obtained during a Full Moon. There are seven moon phases in total, and each time you rest, the phase shifts by one. To farm Nightflower Pollen, check the current moon phase and rest until it is just before the Full Moon. Here are the steps you need to follow:

  • Go to the Pop-Up Camp in the Windward Plains, Area 10 Southeast.
  • Rest and set the time to Plenty – Nighttime.
    • The moon can only be checked during Plenty, as other times are too cloudy.
    • Head slightly down the camp, across the water
    • Wait about one minute; facing east, you should see the moon’s shape and determine the phase.
  • Do this until you are one phase away from the Full Moon (the moon should be almost full, so not fully round-looking).
    • Each rest changes the phase from only 1 step
    • Each rest also costs 300 Guild Points, so stock up on those first
  • Once you got the phase right before Full Moon, rest at the camp until Evening (do not pick Nighttime, as this will shorten the amount of Nightflower Pollen you can collect)
  • You can also accept the optional Quest Tempered Balahara
    • The quest teleports you to the Windward Plains right before nighttime, making it a perfect time to farm the flower
    • The quest is given by Y’sai in Kunafa
  • Start again from the Pop-up Camp in Area 10 Southeast
  • Head to the Ephemeral Blossom in Area 10 and Wait
  • After around 1 minute, the Flower will Bloom, and you can Collect Nightflower Pollen
  • After that, fast travel to the Pop-Up Camp in Area 3 South:
    • Jump From the Cliff While on your Seikret and Glide
    • Collect the Second Flower Return From Quest
  • After that, you can accept the Optional Quest from Alma and repeat the previous steps

Farming Results

  • 50 minutes of farming for around 32 Nightflower Pollen
  • Trading everything in takes around 40 minutes
  • 32 Golden Melding Tickets exchanged in total
  • Total time spent: around 1 hour 30 minutes

What You Get

With 32 Golden Melding Tickets, you can obtain:

  • 320 max-level Weapon Decorations or
  • 640 max-level Armor Decorations or
  • 480 max-level Weapon Relics or
  • 96 Hard Armor Spheres

The best part of this farming method is that it is incredibly easy! You don’t have to think much during this process, making it a super-efficient and easy way to farm some of the best upgrades in the game.
