Player Reports and Item Level Thresholds
One player, who achieved item level 550, reported that upgrading their gear slots on live servers didn’t cost any crests. If you’ve also reached this level in MoP Remix, expect a similar discount. However, it’s important to note that items like rings, trinkets, and necklaces, which weren’t upgradable in MoP Remix, will still need crests on retail servers.
