With a growing number of players reaching Level 80, we can track class trends and analyze the shifts in popularity. The Most Popular Classes in The War Within Season 1

Here’s a look at the new class distribution among max-level players, two weeks after the War Within’s global release. We compared the numbers with those from the previous week and highlighted all shifts in player preferences with clear visual cues!

  2. Druid – 11.0% (+0.1%)
  3. Hunter – 10.2% (-0.4%)
  4. Warrior – 9.2% (-0.3%)
  5. Shaman – 7.9% (-0.1%)
  6. Death Knight – 7.7% (-0.4%)
  7. Mage – 7.3% (no change)
  8. Priest – 7.0% (+0.3%)
  9. Demon Hunter – 7.0% (+0.3%)

Analysis

The rankings show Paladin remains the most popular class, although it saw a slight dip of 0.2%, going from 13.3% to 13.1%. The Druid follows closely with a minor increase of 0.1% now at 11.0%, while the Hunter, previously in third place, saw the biggest drop of 0.4%, falling to 10.2%.

Warrior also saw a small decline of 0.3%, and Death Knight saw a notable decrease of 0.4%, placing them lower on the list. Shaman saw a slight decline of 0.1%.

On the rise are Priest, DH, and Monk, each showing modest increases of 0.3% and 0.2%, signalizing growing popularity.

Rogue and Warlock saw small bumps of 0.1%, but nothing that significantly impacted their standings in the rankings. Evoker continues to have the lowest representation among all classes with just 3.4%.
